Gethsemane Cemetery is proud to announce we are participating in Wreaths Across America this year

Wreaths Across America helps to coordinate wreath laying ceremonies at cemeteries across the United States, providing almost 3 million wreaths last year.

Cemeteries only receive the number of wreaths that are sponsored, so in order to ensure all our veterans receive a wreath this year, we need your help to reach our goal of 5000 wreaths.

Wreaths Across America Volunteer Information

Thank you for volunteering to help place veterans’ wreaths on the headstones of American Heroes as part of National Wreaths Across America Day on December 14, 2024 at 12pm. We thank you for your support!

Please make note of these additional event details below and reach out with any questions.

A short ceremony will be held at 12 pm on Sat December 14, 2024 at Gethsemane Cemetery. Staff will be available to direct volunteers for parking.
For those of you that wished to help with setup or refreshments, please reach out to Kemberly at kemberly@gethcem.com or call 610-929-2613.
For those of you who have indicated you would like to place your own grave specific wreath, please arrive between 12pm and 1pm. All remaining grave specific wreaths will be placed by staff after this time unless other arrangements are made.
For those of you who indicated you would like to volunteer to place wreaths, we will begin placing the wreaths immediately after the 12pm ceremony. Instructions on placing the wreaths will be provided.
